William "Bill" Leslie Johnson, 86, of Edina, Minn., died peacefully after a heart related illness on Dec. 14, 2012.
William "Bill" Leslie Johnson, 86, of Edina, Minn., died peacefully after a heart related illness on Dec. 14, 2012.
Bill was born in Duluth, on Dec. 12, 1926.
He was a World War II Navy veteran. He retired after over 40 years as a mechanical engineer who later became the Executive Vice President of Reuter, Inc. He loved spending time with family, fishing, golf, traveling, and playing cribbage.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by wife of 60 years, Rose; children, William (Cheryl), Craig (Cheri), and Cathy (Rob) and five grandchildren.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, Minn. with visitation at 10 a.m. 952-924-4100. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in his name to the American Heart Association
