MICHAEL G. SERRITELLA

Michael G. Serritella, 57, of Lake Nebagamon, WI, passed away on Dec. 13, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Michael G. Serritella, 57, of Lake Nebagamon, WI, passed away on Dec. 13, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Michael was born in Oak Park, Ill., on July 24, 1955 to Russell and Dorothy (Bayliss) Serritella.

He worked in Ramp Service at United Airlines for 28 years. In 2010 Michael retired with his wife Donna to Lake Nebagamon to enjoy his passion for fishing, camping and country life. Michael will be remembered for his caring and selfless gifts of kindness to his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Russell P. “Butch” Serritella.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Donna; children Jennifer and Russell Serritella both of Lake in the Hills, Ill.; stepchildren, James (Katie) Paine of Superior, Wis., Jerry (Amanda) Paine of Lake Nebagamon, Wis.; sister Pat Serritella of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; nephews, Scott (Irani) Hart of Doral, Fla., and Chris (Nicole) Hart of West Chicago, Ill.; as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Luke’s Hospital 2 west and infusion center for their excellent care.

VISITATION: 11 a.m. until the 12 Noon Memorial Mass on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 in Cathedral of Christ the King 1410 Baxter Ave. Superior, Wis. Services entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota 218-624-5200
