MARGARET E. ANDREWS

Margaret E. Andrews, 83, of Duluth, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Duluth.

Margaret Eleanor Nichols was born Nov. 5, 1929 in Duluth, the daughter of Charles John and Marie Eleanor (Bonde) Nichols.

She grew up in Duluth and graduated from Denfeld High School. She later attended the University of Minnesota. Margaret returned to Duluth and was employed as a Medical Technologist at St. Luke’s Hospital until her retirement.

She enjoyed collecting knick knacks, and loved her family very much and enjoyed life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carol Wasdahl.

Margaret is survived by her children, George Andrews, Paula Andrews, and John Andrews all of Duluth; grandson Justin M. Andrews; and sister Dorothy Thorson of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 in Dougherty Funeral Home. A private family service will be held on Friday. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery, Duluth. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home (218) 727-3555.
