Garrett Michael Carr, 27, lifelong resident of Oliver, Wis., was taken suddenly from his family and friends Monday, Nov. 19, 2012.
He was born Aug. 29, 1985 in Duluth to Gary and Colleen (Cragin) Carr.
Garrett was a 2004 graduate of Superior H.S. He worked for and was a member of the International Assoc of Heat and Frost Insulators & Allied Workers, Local 49.
Garrett was a great, proud father of Alayna and Nolan. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and just life in general. Garrett’s family and friends meant everything to him.
Garrett is survived by his children, Alayna and Nolan; his parents, Gary and Colleen; brother and friend, Bill; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his many friends.
GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Nov. 24, in Holy Assumption Catholic Church, 5601 Tower Avenue, Superior. Arrangements entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota, 624-5200.

Dear Gary,Colleen,and Billy.We are so sorry to hear about Garrett.I know our card won't get there before Saturday.Dick will be calling soon.He's having a hard time talking about this tragic accident.He wished he could be there,you'll never know how sorry we are.No parent should lose a child,we realize that oh so well after losing Shawn.Only time and memories help.Please know we are with you all in spirit and praying each day that comes lessens the pain.All our love.Uncle Dick,Suzy and TylerSpringdale, AR 11/23/2012 4:35 PM
