Gene had been a patient of mine for the last 28 years. I was his hygienist at Pike Lake Dental. He was the kind of patient that, when his name showed up on the schedule, always brought a smile to my face. He always had a joke or two, and I was treated to many of his stories throughout the years. I will truely miss seeing him, but will hold in my heart the treasure it was to have known such a wonderful, and wonderfully fun man.

My condolences to Gene's family. I was a twenty-something new hire at Travelers Ins. in 1970 when I met Gene (Borge to most of us). He was one of the first people I met that impressed me with his knowledge and williiness to help train us newbies. Always a professional, always willing to share his experiences. A great guy!
