I worked with Wayne for over 4 years, and almost everyday for the last 3 months. He always talked about how lucky he was for his wife and he always talked about how proud he was of his daughter. He looked at me and said, "I got a super good kid Dude, I really do!" Wayne had a very witty and clever sense of humor, it was one that was very unique, it was better than a stand up comedians except that his came from the heart. And he didn't make jokes at the expense of other people, he used it to make other people feel good. He would look at people with the most serious expression and say "Do you think I'll ever amount to anything". I would laugh just looking at him waiting for the next one-liner. He used to tease me about not being from Esko. I would ask where someone was from and he'd say "his mom", again classic! He used to sing, Hey June at the top of his lungs instead of hey june. At the same time Wayne was professional doing his job the right way came first but he was special where he had that balance of working very hard and adding humor at the same time. He was never late, in those three months I was early every day except for one, I was late by 3 minutes and he looked at me and said "your late", I said "I know" and he said "I'm never late" and we laughed but that was how he was, he led by example. Wayne liked to help people. I'm deeply sorry for Sue and Brittany's loss. I will miss Wayne, he made work so much more fun. I believe he's up there still teasing me and making jokes and singing HEY JUNE, he used to call people June Bug. Gabe Jorgensen Duluth, MN Gabe JorgensenDuluth, MN 11/20/2012 7:16 PM
