MARJORIE (BORGESON) RASMUSSEN INGRAM

Marjorie (Borgeson) Rasmussen Ingram, 94, joined our Lord on Oct. 30, 2012

Marjorie (Borgeson) Rasmussen Ingram, 94, joined our Lord on Oct. 30, 2012

She was born Aug. 16, 1918 the oldest of 10 siblings raised by Arthur and Idena (Walstad) Borgeson.

She had two children, Arthur and Joan (Edward) Stewart and was blessed with three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; father of her children, Don Rasmussen, was killed in World War II Normandy Beach landing. Thus Marge went to work and her pleasing personality made her a successful waitress for years at the Paul Bunyan and The Flame restaurants.

Marjorie outlived her son Arthur; parents, Arthur and Idena; grandson, Rob Stewart, and Borgeson siblings, Arthur, Roger, Donald, Glenn, Joan, Thomas, Robert, and Betty Ann; and her popular husband Irv Ingram, who was a survivor of Nazi POW camp.

She spent four years at St. Eligius Nursing Home where the only living sibling, David Borgeson, could visit her and provide the bag of little candies to satisfy her love of sweets till she passed away.

Marjorie desired to be cremated and not to have a formal funeral ceremony. So be it!
