Dear Godfrey Family, I had a lot in common with Jeff--growing up on 5th Street, walking to St. James, attending Cathedral and Saint John's. On more than one occasion, he encouraged me, his junior by a couple years, in ways that I still remember. I am saddened to hear of his death and your sorrow. My thoughts are with you.
