Dean was born on Nov. 14, 1969, in Virginia, Minn.
Dean was raised in Melrude, Minn. Dean graduated from Cotton High School in 1988 and graduated from the Carpentry Program at Eveleth Vo-Tech in 1990. Dean was employed by Lakehead Constructors in their Railroad Division.
Dean was a loving and devoted husband and father to his wife, Leslie (Robarge) and his son, Alec Rohlf. Dean is survived by his father, Robert “Butch” Rohlf, of Virginia; sister, Lynn Rohlf, of Duluth; mother-in-law, Susan Robarge, of Chisholm; sisters-in-law, Kali Robarge of Kellogg, and Jodie Chastain of Stacy; nephews, Jake Schultz and Coda Chastain; numerous aunts and uncles; cousins; and, extended family and friends.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 in the Range Funeral Home in Virginia. Service 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 in the Range Funeral Home in Virginia, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Melrude, Minn. A good man was taken from us way too soon! My thoughts and prayers go out to Butch, Lynn, Leslie, Alec and the rest of Dean's family. Growing up with Dean and his family has left me with many wonderful memories and I am forever grateful! He will be missed dearly!
