Theodore "Ted" Spanner, husband, father, and papa, lifetime Hibbing resident completed his journey on Oct. 14, 2012 at Boutwells Landing, Oak Park Heights, Minn., surrounded by family, and is now celebrating a new life with Jesus Christ.
Theodore "Ted" Spanner, husband, father, and papa, lifetime Hibbing resident completed his journey on Oct. 14, 2012 at Boutwells Landing, Oak Park Heights, Minn., surrounded by family, and is now celebrating a new life with Jesus Christ.
Ted graduated from Macalester College in 1958. Owner of Range Firestone, Range Motors, Modern Motors, and proudly established the Spanner family Foundation.
Preceded in death by parents, Merva and Lee Spanner.
Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sherry; children, Sarah Henke (Brian), Rebecca Schulte (Brian); grandchildren, Bennett and Blake Henke, Lauren and Austin Schulte; sister, Elizabeth Woods of Ishpeming, Mich.; cousins, Kathy MacTavish of St. Joseph, Mich., and Karl Schlabach of Michigan.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. TODAY, Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 in First Presbyterian Church, 2201 2nd Avenue East, Hibbing, Minn.
