Kurt Hanson, of Cottage Grove, died Sunday afternoon Oct. 7, 2012.

Kurt Allan Hanson was born March 30, 1963 in Duluth, the son of Floyd and Charlotte (Kilbey) Hanson.

He was raised in Duluth and attended Denfeld High School.

On June 15, 1985 Kurt was united in marriage with Sharon Watczak in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Duluth.

Kurt was employed for 26 years at Metro Gravel. He loved fishing, sports, and vacationing with the family.

Kurt was preceded in death by his father Floyd.

Kurt is the beloved husband of Sharon and loving father of Cory and Natalie. He is also survived by his mother Charlotte; brothers Kevin, Kim (Linda), Kelly; and other family.

VISITATION: 10 a.m. Saturday until the 11 a.m. service in Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N. 56th Ave. W. Duluth. Interment at Polish Cemetery.
