RICHARD CALVIN MILLER, SR.

Richard Calvin Miller, Sr., 87, of Columbia Heights. Wonderful loving dad and grandpa. On Oct. 1, 2012 he was greeted in heaven by his Savior, Jesus Christ and his beloved wife of 47 years, Mary Jane (Beck); and a host of friends and family who have gone before him.

World War ll Veteran U.S. Coast Guard. Retired from JC Penney after 30 years.

He is much loved and will be greatly missed by his daughters, Paula Jane and Mary Jo; son Richard Jr. and wife Karen; his cherished grandchildren, Noah, Isaiah, Rachel and Hannah; sisters-in-law Millie Nimmo, Becky Ward, and Virginia Kunde; also many other wonderful nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends.

VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. Friday in Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel, and visitation Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services beginning 1 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church, 300 2nd St., Duluth. Interment at Park Hill Cemetery. www.Washburn-McReavy.com Northeast Chapel
