MITCHELL "MITCH" DAVID LINGREN

Mitchell D. Lingren, 29, of Duluth and formerly of Cloquet, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 near Cromwell, Minn.

Mitchell D. Lingren, 29, of Duluth and formerly of Cloquet, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 near Cromwell, Minn.

He was born Oct. 25, 1982 in Cloquet to David and Kathy (Cambronne) Lingren.

He graduated from Cloquet High School in 2001. Mitch was united in marriage to Angela “Angie” M. Peleski on July 2, 2006 in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cloquet. He worked as a survey crew chief for the Carlton County Transportation Dept. and enjoyed working outdoors with his crew and friends.

Mitch loved his family, and they were his pride and joy. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time at the cabin and fishing with his kids. Mitch was a coach for his son’s youth hockey team in Duluth and also coached youth baseball in Cloquet. He loved watching sports and the Minnesota Vikings with his son Jordan. Mitch will be deeply missed.

Mitch was preceded in death by one brother, Nicholas; his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lilly Lingren; and his maternal grandparents, Edward and Geneva Cambronne.

He is survived by his wife, Angie; two children, Jordan and Lilly; his parents, David and Kathy Lingren of Cloquet; one brother, Alexander (Jessica) Lingren of Italy; one sister, Sally (Chris Walswick) Lingren of Prior Lake, Minn.; his wife’s parents, Tim and Rhonda Peleski of Esko; one sister-in-law, Erin Peleski; three nieces, Maddie, Ainsley, and Maia; one nephew, Jonah; his God-parents, Dr. David and Dr. Dana Luehr; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 in Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. The visitation will resume on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cloquet, followed with a luncheon in the church fellowship hall. Dear Family I'm so very sorry to hear about the accident. My thoughts are with you and your family. I have great memories of Mitch while I coached him as a hockey player. He made me a better coach and person by having such a positive attitude. Sincerely Tim Danger and family

Dear Kathy and family, I was so sorry to hear of the tragic loss of your son. My heart goes out to you. I cannot even fathom the pain you must be enduring. My husband, myself and our children send you our sincerest condolances to his wife, children, parents and family. It is a tragic event that could have been prevented and Im so saddened that you all have to go through this. We do not know you but trust me...our hearts ache for all of you.
