Lorraine Sobczak (Pasek), formerly of Duluth, passed away September 27, 2012 in Mt. Angel, Ore.

She was born April 28, 1927 in Kettle River, Minn., to Frank and Elizabeth Pasek.

She was a member of St. Paul Catholic church, Silverton, Ore. Lorraine was enjoying her last years at Mt. Angel Towers in Mt. Angel, Ore.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Clemence Sobczak, and her brothers Leonard and Clemence Pasek.

She is survived by her children Carol (Rod) Mroczek, Tigard, Ore., Jane (Jerry) Grover, Salem, Ore., Kay Westlake, Sammamish, Wash., Robert (Tracy) Sobczak, Sun City, Ariz., and James (Risa) Sobczak, Pine City, Minn.; sisters Barbara Pasek Brown, Palo Alto, Calif., Josephine Metso, Moose Lake, Minn.; grandchildren Nikki, Tracy, Amy, Kevin, Kyle, Noel, Naomi and Monica; great grandchildren Austin, Christopher, Kayla, Madison, Blaine and Breonna.

Carol, Bob, Jim and Kay, I'm so sorry to read about your Mom (and Dad, I didn't know about him). I loved hanging out at you house, they were always so funny. Even when I got older they were still great! I sure have some good and fun memories of them both. Thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Thoughts and prayers are with Lorraine's family. I remember she and Clem when Clem played with my folks. Very nice lady! God picked a beautiful flower!
