To the Letourneau Family, My family extends thier heartfelt condolences to your family. Phil was my coach at Cathedral and also Central High School back in the late 60's - early 70's. I will never forget what a strong individual he was, both physically and in character. He taught me a great deal by his example and I always looked up to him. When I was thinking about playing college sprots, I asked him what he thought were my chances. He gave me a sideward glance and said, "you can do anything Jimmy". I went on to play for UMD and it was partly his confidence in me that got me there. The world has lost a true character in Phil's passing. We have gained from knowing Phil and are all a little less because of his death. The Jim Ridinger Family Edina, MN

My condolences to all of Phil's family. I had Phil as a student teacher while I was at the UMD Lab school & also took lessons from him at Mont du Lac. Even though I was quite young, I still remember his joy of life. RIP Phil. Sam Boyer Canyon Country CA
