Robert Gordon Klepatz, Sr. 78, of Duluth, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at home, his loving wife was at his side.
Robert Gordon Klepatz, Sr., 78, of Duluth, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at home, his loving wife was at his side.
He was born March 21, 1934 in Duluth, to August and Esther Klepatz. Robert was a 1953 graduate of Denfeld High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Robert retired from Duluth Water & Gas with over 30 years of service. He was an active member of Glen Avon Presbyterian Church.
Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert Gordon Klepatz, Jr.; his parents; and a sister, Betty Wiederholt.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Rodney (Ginny), Ann (Bruce) Todd and Pam (Mike) Jerulle, all of the Duluth area; step-children, Kristine (Ron) Flett of Maple Grove and John Buchanan of Princeton, Minn; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Tyne of Robinsdale, Minn; special friend and companion, Travis.
Robert was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by all.
VISITATION: 12 p.m. until the 1 p.m. memorial service Wednesday, Sept. 19th in Glen Avon Presbyterian Church, 2105 Woodland Ave. Arrangements entrusted to Cremation society of Minnesota, 624-5200.
