HAZEL JUOLA
Hazel Lorraine Hjelt Juola, 76, of Floodwood, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, in Villa Vista Care Center in Cromwell, leaving a great legacy of devotion and service to her family and friends.
She was born in Chisholm Dec. 8, 1935, to John and Leima Hjelt. Hazel married Bob Juola of Floodwood May 3, 1955.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father Frank Rautio; and brother Kenneth Hjelt.
Hazel is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bob; sons Bob Jr. (Judy) Juola and Tim (Betty) Juola, both of Hazen, Ark.; daughter Vicki Bachman of Jenkins, Minn.; brother Melvin (Ruth) Hjelt of Marquette, Mich.; grandchildren Jason Brekke of Roseville, Minn., Michael Juola of Benton, Ark., Jon Brekke of Jenkins, Minn., Kaley Breeding of Benton, and Jamie Martilla of International Falls; great-grandchildren Kassidy Brekke of International Falls and Briley Breeding of Benton.
The family expresses a special great appreciation to Karen Luibakka, Johnson family, and the Bridgeman’s family for their help, care, and concern. The family would also like to thank Itasca County Hospice, Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospice, and the staff at Villa Vista for their loving and compassionate care.
VISITATION: 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday, Sept. 17, in the Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St., Cloquet. A time of lunch and fellowship will follow in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Valley Cemetery.
