Barbara R. Galeski, 81, of Duluth, died Tuesday Sept. 4, 2012 in Golden Oaks Advanced Assisted Living in Proctor.

Barbara R. Galeski, 81, of Duluth, died Tuesday Sept. 4, 2012 in Golden Oaks Advanced Assisted Living in Proctor.

She was born in Duluth on March 31, 1931 to Anthony and Gladys Galeski.

Barb had worked at Northwestern Bell, Hotel Duluth, Duluth Clinic, and retired from the Moose Lake State Hospital. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Barb had a passion for her family, and the Green Bay Packers.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughters Shari (Kris) Olson of Cloquet, Sandy (Kevin) Hensel of Duluth, Terri (Scott) Doble of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Peggy (Greg) Stevens of Duluth; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother Donald Galeski of Duluth; sister Connie Robison of Duluth; and many nieces and nephews.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Saturday Sept. 8, 2012 in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Inurnment will be at Polish Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Home.
