Frances Ann Borbiconi, 72, lifetime resident of Hibbing, died suddenly at her home on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012.
She was born on Jan. 16, 1940, in North Hibbing, the youngest of three girls born to Frank and Julia Brick.
After a joyful upbringing in North Hibbing, Fran married Ron Borbiconi on Feb. 1, 1957, at Blessed Sacrament Church. Fran was a beautiful loving wife, a wonderful mother, and a marvelous homemaker. She loved her home and her beautiful flower garden but most of all cherished spending time with her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth Gustafson.
Fran is survived by her husband, Ron Borbiconi; a son, Craig Borbiconi, Hibbing; a daughter, Leslie and her husband Joe Antunovich, Evanston, Ill.; a sister, Dorothy Calabrese, of Minneapolis and her children Jaime Calabrese and Jason Calabrese; a brother-in-law, Paul Gustafson, of Hibbing; and nieces and nephews
VISITATION: 9:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 until the 11 a.m. memorial service in Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing. Private interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.
