Heaven received a special angel on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, when Joelle Angela Cosner, 45, of Duluth, passed away in her home after a short illness.
Heaven received a special angel on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, when Joelle Angela Cosner, 45, of Duluth, passed away in her home after a short illness.
She was born on July 22, 1966 in Houghton, Mich. to James and Valeria (Nowak) Weinert.
Joelle attended school in Virginia, Minn., graduating in 1984. Joelle married Kevin Cosner and his children Eryn, Kacy and Amy on April 28, 2001. Joelle was a special friend to many people, and she loved taking care of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: George and Teresa Nowak, and Carl and Vi Weinert; and her beloved sister Kelly Berthold.
Joelle is survived by her husband, Kevin; daughters Eryn (Lance) Larsen, Kacy (Michael) Sipper and Amy Cosner, all of Duluth; her grandchildren: Ellis, Nicholas, Carter and Lindsay; her parents, James and Valeria Weinert of Embarrass, Minn; her brother Christopher (Sandi) Weinert and their daughter Elie, of Sauk Rapids, Minn; her brother-in-law Brenden Berthold of Yuma, Ariz..; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and a special friend Robin.
MEMORIAL SERVICES: 4 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Fredenberg Community Chapel, 5069 Fish Lake Road. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth, 727-3555.
