Irene E. Couture, 70, Cloquet, died peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at her home.

Irene E. Couture, 70, Cloquet, died peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Beanie" Couture; parents: Thomas and Viola Eppenberger; and granddaughter: Hannah Kosloski.

Irene will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Theresa (Dan Dobson) Bridge of Cloquet and Sarah Paro of Duluth; three sons Jim (Sylvia) Kosloski of Milaca; Richard (Shelly Carpenter) Kosloski of Verndale; and Mike (Stephanie) Kosloski of Sturgeon Lake; 15 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister Sandra (Larry) Schoenrock of Finlayson; brother Dale Eppenberger of Finlayson; special friend Trudy Nyholm of Cloquet; and many adopted and foster children that she took care of through the years.

VISITATION: 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Handevidt Funeral Home, Cloquet and continue from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service on Monday, July 16, 2012 in Zion Lutheran Church, Cloquet. Burial will be at New Calvary Cemetery, Cloquet. Arrangements are by Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home in Moose Lake and Handevidt Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cloquet. Both Irene and Gene were very special people. Irenes bright smiles always made you feel special and she will be missed alot.
