Marilyn J. Grover, 75, of Cloquet, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Community Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 8, 1936 in Cloquet to Arthur and Viola (DeRusha) Anderson and graduated from Cloquet High School in 1954.
Marilyn was united in marriage to Clifford A. Grover Sr. in 1955. She was very active as a member of the U.S. Air Force wife's club. Marilyn worked many years as a nurse's aide and retired in 1979 from Community Memorial Hospital. She was also a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Anderson; her daughter, Kimberly Eakins and an infant daughter, Mary Martha.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford Grover Sr.; her children, Cliff (Lynn) Grover Jr. of Derby, Kan., Mike (Melissa) Grover of St. Paul, Troy Grover of Wichita, Kan., and Pam (Mark) Nunnery of Winterville, N.C.; six grandchildren, Lance, Jordan (Ashlee), Justin, Jessica, Dustin, and Lindsey. They were her pride and joy. Marilyn is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
VISITATION: 9 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012 until the 10 a.m. memorial service in Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. Inurnment will be at New Calvary Cemetery, followed with a luncheon in the funeral home fellowship room. See the family online guest book at www.nelsonfuneralcare.net
