Marina Gertrude (Thesing) Hartman, 98, passed away on July 7, 2012 at the Cloquet Memorial Hospital.

Marina was born to John and Lena Thesing on July 24, 1913 in St. Bonifacius, Minn.
She was married to William Hartman on Feb. 12, 1934 at St. Mathias Church, who proceded in death on Sept. 1, 1989.
She was a lifetime member of the Catholic Church. She loved the Lord and prayer was a daily ritual for her. Marina was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She was an exceptional person, loved by all. Her personal love for her family was extremely felt, as was their love for each other. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking and baking for family and friends.
Marina is survived by brothers, Raymond Thesing, Joe Thesing, twin brothers Pete and Paul; her children, Lorena Pickar, Jim (Judy) Hartman, Sy (Marilyn) Hartman, Bill (Nancy) Hartman, Dave (Shelley) Hartman; 25-grandchildren; 54-great-grandchildren and 19-great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers and her daughter Lucy Pickar (Virgil) and great granddaughter April (Stomberg) Hartman.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 in St. Mathias Catholic Church in St. Mathias Township. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday in the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with a Rosary and Prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue in the church the hour before services on Thursday. Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery near Barnum at 3:30 p.m.
