Mary Ann Valberg, 75 of Silver Bay, Minn. passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012.

Mary Ann Valberg, 75 of Silver Bay, Minn., passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012.

Born to Thomas and Opal (Hopkins) Scully on Sept. 30, 1936 in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Phyllis Scully and her son, Scott Valberg.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband Luther Valberg of Silver Bay; a brother and sister Thomas Scully and Linda (Scully) Grace; her two daughters, Lesa Turnbull of Duluth, and Tonya Stone of Norwalk, Iowa; Felicia Valberg in Port Orchard, Wash.; grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

SERVICE: 3 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 in Sychar Lutheran Church, 14 Edison Blvd, Silver Bay, MN 55614.

Lesa, Tonya, Luther and all, Many of us in silver Bay will miss the bright cheerful Mary Ann! I have enjoyed renewing friendship with her these last couple years at UP Church bible studies on Wed. her smiles and love will be missed by many of us.Leah Williamson.
