Verle E. Solberg of Duluth went to be with his Lord on June 23, 2012 at Heritage Haven Asst. Living.
Verle is the son of Carl and Ellen (Alvar) Solberg, born March 27, 1929.
He served 10 years in the army. Most of his adult years were spent in Mankato, Minn., working on road construction projects in Southern Minnesota and Iowa.
Verle was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Marian (Mettler) Solberg on Feb. 25, 2007.
He is survived by his brother Dwight (Betty) Solberg of Silver Bay Minn.; Nancy (Ed) McGrew of Duluth, and Naomi (Lowell) Weberg of Duluth. Also, his son Jeffery of Kenyon Minn.; grandson Jeffery Verle (Charenne) Solberg of California; great grandson Clayton Solberg of California; and step daughter Debbie Keller of California.
The family would like to thank Heritage Haven for their loving care of Verle.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, in Emmanuel Baptist Church.
