Jacob Clayton Carlson, 32, of Billings, Mont. formerly of Duluth, died on Thursday June 7, 2012 in Solvay Hospice House in Duluth with his family by his side.
Jacob Clayton Carlson, 32, of Billings, Mont., formerly of Duluth, died on Thursday June 7, 2012 in Solvay Hospice House in Duluth with his family by his side.
Jake was born on May 15, 1980 in Duluth to Dell and Denice (Johnson) Carlson.
He has been a resident of Billings for six years working as a salesman for Coulin's Furniture Store.
Jake was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Some of his hobbies included playing pool, reading and drawing; he was a very talented artist.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Lois Casperson and Jean Ovind; his grandfather, Leonard Carlson and his uncle, Allen Scott Carlson.
Survivors include his parents, Denice (Russell Holman) Johnson of Duluth; Dell (Gean) Carlson of Duluth; his sister, Sara (William Talbott) Bryki of Duluth; his grandparents, Rudy (Ruby) Johnson and John Ovind; his aunts and uncles, Janine (Jerry) Taylor; Cheryl (Fred) Johnson; Susan (Jim Pearson) Neff; Cheryl (Ray Povio) Carlson; and many cousins and friends.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Friday June 22, 2012 at Brighton Beach "Kitchi Gammi Park". Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Park, Hermantown, MN at a later date.
