Helen Geraldine Flynn, 87, of Duluth, died on Friday, June 08, 2012 in St. Luke's Hospital Hospice with her family by her side. She was a resident of Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Proctor.
Helen was born on June 6, 1925 in Indianapolis, Ind., to Herbert and Bernice (Gonyea) Crawford.
Helen worked for many years as an LPN at St. Mary's Hospital and Dr. Hoff's office.
Helen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church she was very active with the parish volunteering.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; her sister, Joyce Beyer and her brother, Robert Crawford.
Survivors include her children, Duane (Marlene) Flynn of Duluth; Pat (Don) Johnson of Duluth and Diane Baird of Wausau, Wis.; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her sister Sharline Bruley of Blaine, Minn., and many nieces and nephews.
MEMORIAL MASS: 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Duluth Heights. A gathering of friends and family will be held one hour prior in the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
