DANIEL J. OSTMAN

Daniel J. Ostman died on May 19, 2012 in Florida when he lost his battle with MDS cancer.

He was born on Dec. 13, 1946 in Duluth, Minn. residing on Park Point for his first 18 years.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents John & Millie (Wilcox) Ostman; Great grandaughter Bella Purcell.

Dan is survived by his high school sweetheart Nancy; children, Jim and Barbara A. Thorton; sister, Audrey; brothers, Lyle and Paul; step-mother, Joyce

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9 at First United Methodist Church, 111 N 22nd St., Mexico Beach, Fla.

Very sorry to hear this. My heart goes out to Nancy and the rest of the family. Also sorry we didn't manage to keep in touch over the years. Lots of good times shared that I think of often. Rod Hafner

Nancy, I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing..I used to work with you at Duluth Camera and always enjoyed hearing about Dan and the kids. If you get a chance, stop by First Photo, we would all love to see you while you are in town...if I can do anything for you while you are here, please let me know..
