My Dad's Memorial Service on Friday, June 1st, 2012, @ church was beautiful. Pastor Becky read the tribute and memories we all had of our dad/husband, and it was wonderful. At one point, the congregation laughed at Pastor Becky's reading of my Dad's 3 measure ratings in life, as well as the governor story, and more. Lori, the soloist and Peggy the orThe burial of his ashes in the Garden of Gethsemane at church was very somber, followed by tea and cookies in the Fellowship Hall. There must have been seven hundred people at the service and I would like to thank all for coming and for your thoughts, words, prayers, flowers, and gifts at a very sad sad time for our family. We know Dad lives in Heaven now, and lives with our Saviour, & with his Mom, Dad, grandson Cale, and great grand-son, Mason and his brothers, grandparents, etc.,. We will miss you, Dad, with all of our hearts, forever, until we meet again. You were the Best Dad ever. DianeDuluth, MN 06/05/2012 10:07 AM
