Clifford Daniel Tyler, 62, of St. Cloud passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at his home.

Clifford Daniel Tyler, 62, of St. Cloud, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at his home in St. Cloud.

Cliff was born on Oct. 14, 1949 in Minneapolis, to James and Lillian (Marnell) Tyler.

He served honorably in the Unites States Army during the Vietnam Campaign and was in the Army Reserve for 29 years during which he was activated as an Army Instructor for Operation Desert Storm. Cliff worked as a heavy wheel mechanic for the majority of his life.

He was a member of the Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post No. 428 and the Duluth American Legion Post No. 71.

Cliff enjoyed fishing, model airplanes and cars, and flying RC Airplanes.

He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Harriet; and James' mother, Lois.

Cliff is survived by his son, James (Theresa) of Milaca; grandchildren, Hannah and Nicholas; step- father, Bernard Moore; sister and brother, Diane (Don) and Larry (Jeannine); as well as other extended family.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 in the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Reverend Scott Gjevre will officiate. Family and friends may call after 12 noon on Friday in the funeral home. Military Honors will be performed after the services on Friday in the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to donors local American Legion.
