Frances Rose Mushinski was born March 11, 1905 in Virginia, Minn., the daughter of John and Mary (Laskowski) Mushinski.
She grew up in McKinley, Minn., and graduated from Gilbert High School. Frances worked as a secretary at the Gilbert School for a time. She married Edward Seguin in 1945 in Duluth where they made their home. She worked in the accounting department of the St. Louis County Board of Education Office for 37 years retiring in 1971.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Golden Age Club, Keenagers, and Daughters of Isabella.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward; brother, Bernard Mushinski; sisters, Angeline Mushinski, Helen Klimek, and Eleanor Holm.
She is survived by her sisters, Agnes Miller and Genevieve Beaudoin, both of Duluth; sister-in-law, Helen Bursch of St. Cloud, Minn.; nephews, John Miller of Duluth, and Douglas Beaudoin of Spokane, Wash.; nieces, Mary Miller Whitaker of Sunnyvale, Calif., Lois Miller Hogan of Littleton, Colo., Carol Beaudoin Bogart of Duluth, Eleanore Klimek Jacobson of Williamsburg, Va., Ruth Ann Klimek Hoffmann of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Constance Mushinski Bromaghim of Big Lake, Minn., and several grand nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Benedictine Health Center Chapel, 935 Kenwood Avenue, Duluth. Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Duluth. Memorials preferred. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home (218) 727-3555.
