DONALD L. HOUSE

Donald Lane House, 89, of Cloquet, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012.

He was born July 18, 1922, in Witt, Ill., to Edward and Louisa Mae House. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and also served in the U.S. Army. After Don retired from the Army, he worked as a janitor at the First National Bank of Cloquet and a school bus driver in Cloquet.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Lucille; second wife Doris; daughter Donna; brothers Earl, Lester, and Wilson; and sisters Iva, Gladys and Violla.

Don is survived by his sons, Lester (Sandra) House of Forest, Va., and Rodger (Verna) House of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sisters Shirley Hemmila of Esko and Ella Mae Graboski of Cloquet; son-in-law Marvin Dreessen; grandchildren Kim Conrad, Mark Dreessen, Jenifer House, and Charles House; and five great-grandchildren.

VISITATION: 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, March 31, in Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet, followed with a luncheon in the fellowship room. Military Honors will be presented by the Cloquet Honor Guard.
