Richard J. Vaughan, 79, of Roswell, Ga., died March 18, 2012.
Richard J. Vaughan, 79, of Roswell, Ga., died March 18, 2012.
Mr. Vaughan was retired from a distinguished career with the U.S. Army, after which he settled in Minnesota, where he served the City of Duluth for many years.
Always a loyal and loving brother, Richard is survived by his three sisters, Barbara Seymour of New York, Jeannette Norz of New York, Carole Ann Wilson of Roswell, Ga., and Judith Vaughan of New York; and several nieces and nephews.
His wife, Gerda W. Vaughan, preceded him in death.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell, Ga. The Vaughan family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 20, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
