Lucille June Brummer passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents Feb. 28, 2012.
Lucy June was born Dec. 13, 2011 to Sandra June Moe and Charles William Brummer in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Although Lucy's stay here with her family was shorter than anyone had expected, those who met her, and even those who did not, were graced by her most endearing will to live. She was a beautiful baby girl who impacted so many lives in such a brief time. It is our belief that she was truly "too beautiful for this world".
Besides her parents, she is survived by great grandparents Richard and Linda Peterson, and Lois Moe; grandparents Brian and Carrie Moe, Scott and Lisa Brummer; aunt Rachel Moe (Brian Herrick) and uncle Michael Moe (Elena Von Ende), aunt and uncle Andy and Sarah Berg; cousin Maclain Thomas Berg; Wight dog and Stanley Moe cat; along with many other loving extended family members.
Lucille was preceded in death by great grandparents Edward "Dutch" Moe, William and Lucille Brummer, Charles and Catherine Lamb.
Lucy's family would like to thank the staff at Scottsdale Shea NICU, Phoenix Children's Hospital and Ryan House Hospice for surrounding our Love Bug with their competent loving care. It is our belief that she fought so hard to hold her presence here in this world because of the love she was cradled in; all of the excellent doctors, nurses and therapists played a hand in that love.
VISITATION: 2-3 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in First United Methodist Church, located at 230 E. Skyline Parkway Duluth, MN 55811. Family encourages you to read more about Lucy June's beautiful story at: www.caringbridge.org/visit/lucillebrummer
