Theodore J. Hubert, Jr., 85, of Barnes, Wis., formerly of Duluth, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wis.
He was born Jan. 1, 1927 in Duluth, the son of Theodore Hubert, Sr. and Lydia (Arseneau) Olson.
Ted served in the U.S. Army during World War II from March 24, 1945 until he was honorably discharged on Nov. 21, 1946. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors sitting by the water. Ted was loved by all and will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Hubert, Sr. and Lydia (Arseneau) Olson, and a sister, Nancy Tallman.
Ted is survived by children, Ted (Kim) Hubert of Hopkins, Minn., Gloria (Terry) Gren of Brooklyn Park, Minn., Ken (Vicky) Hubert of Faribault, Minn., Mary Dulmage of Columbia Heights, Minn., Beth (Paul) Bradford of Otsego, Minn., Jack (Annie) Hubert of Clitherall, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; long time special Partner Dorothy Berggren of Barnes, Wis.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: will be held at a later date in the Barnes, Wis., area. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
