John Edward Rossi Sr. passed away Feb. 19, 2012.
He was born in Duluth on May 15, 1928 to Joseph and Leona (Stapleton) Rossi.
He is preceded in death by his brother James.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty Rossi (Swanson); his children John Jr. (Marilyn), Paul Rossi and daughter Jane Gammons (Mark deceased); grandchildren Erin O'Neill, Chaz O'Neill, Amy Johnson (Brandon) and John III (Laura); great grandchildren Jerry , Tommy, Madison, Kadance, John IV and Lucas; brother of Kathryn Olson of Glendora Calif.
John Retired from Pickands Mather and Company as a Manager of Purchasing after 38 years of employment.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 9:30 a.m. Saturday Feb. 25, 2012 in St. Raphael Church 525 Dover Center Road Bay Village. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Cleveland Clinic 6801 Brecksville Road #10 Independence, OH. 44131 or to Oasis Animal Shelter PO Box 11 Oberlin, OH. 44074.
