Douglas Gene Willis, Jr., 47, of Superior, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 of natural causes at his home.

Douglas G. Willis was born Sept. 24, 1964 in Endicott, New York, the son of Douglas and Margaret (Cary) Willis.

He moved with his family to Duluth. He attended Cathedral and Central High Schools. He worked at London Road Car Wash for 10 years. He later started Auto Care Towing Company and at the time of his death was employed by U.S.A. Towing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Krystal; son, Jon; brother, Chris; sisters, Annette and Nicole; companion, Theresa; former wife, Theresa and many extended family and friends.

VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 in the Dougherty Funeral Home, and will continue from 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 until the 11 a.m. funeral service. Burial at a later date at Calvary Cemetery. Family prefers memorials. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home (218) 727-3555.
