I was a co-worker of John's at NERCC for a few years. He was a GREAT guy, had a gentle presence, and a quiet sense of humor - could always get a chuckle from him. He was behind my decision to never eat another hot dog unless it came from a real butcher - I remember him telling me how he worked as a meat inspector or something to that effect. That afternoon I went home and tossed out some hot dogs I had in the freezer. My thoughts are with his family and special friend during this time.
