Esther Romano, 102, passed away in her daughter’s arms Nov. 30, 2011.
She was born in Duluth and had resided in Duluth - 1909-1948, Keewatin - 1968, Superior - 2001, and St. Paul - 2011.
Esther loved her family, Christian faith, and Lake Superior. She enjoyed music, dancing, long walks, flowers, baking, and anything chocolate.
We miss your twinkling blue eyes, contagious smile, and quick wit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tony; siblings Walter (Evelyn) Youngberg, Elsie (John) DeSanto, and Fred (Mary) Youngberg.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Martin) Foss; grandchildren Becky, Tony, and Andrew; and great-grandson Connor.
Graveside service was held at Calvary Cemetery in Duluth.
