Charlotte Rosina (Thielman) Willis, 71, longtime resident of Superior, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 19, 2012.
Charlotte Rosina (Thielman) Willis, 71, longtime resident of Superior, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 19, 2012.
She was born Oct 9, 1940 in Grand Forks, ND to Walter and Frances Thielman. She attended the North Dakota School for the Blind in Bathgate, North Dakota.
In 1960 she moved with her family to Superior, WI where she met her husband, David Lee Willis, and was married in February 1973.
She worked at the St. Josephs Hospital in Billings Park and St. Frances Nursing Home in Billings Park as a housekeeper.
She loved spending time with her family. She also loved knitting, crocheting and tatting. She also loved board games and cards.
She is survived by her husband David, brothers and sisters Geraldine Oas of Grand Forks, ND, Bev (Ray) Boggess, Leon (Jody) Thielman, Frank (Cheryl) Thielman, Don (Karen) Thielman of Superior, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Waller and Frances Thielman, two sisters; Darline Peterson and Judy Wuori, and an infant sister.
VISITATION: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 until the 11:30 a.m. Memorial Service in the Cremation Society of MN, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth.
A special thank you to the doctors and staff at St. Lukes Hospital, and the cardiac rehab staff at Essentia Health in Superior.
