Terence R. "Terry" Kastet, 50, Duluth, formerly of Hibbing, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, in Duluth.
He was born in Hibbing April 26, 1960, to Norman and Rose Kastet. Terry graduated from Hibbing High School in 1978 and then served in the U.S. Army.
He graduated from U.M.D. with a bachelor's degree in communications and a minor in political science and had worked for Dex One in Duluth as a local marketing consultant.
Terry loved golfing, hunting, fishing, sightseeing and photography.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman; brother Jeffrey Kastet; and great-nephew Tayne.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona Kastet, of Duluth; mother Rose Kastet of Hibbing; stepsons James M. Sersich of Hibbing and Austin Sersich of Duluth; brother Steven (Debra) Kastet of Hibbing; niece Lindsey (Joe) Bergan of Hibbing; and great-nephews Koby and Lucas Bergan.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. with 7:30 p.m. parish wake prayers Thursday, Feb. 3, and 10-10:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in the Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Hibbing. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.
