Evelyn M. Dack, 90, of Duluth, died Oct. 21, 2010, at Benedictine Health Center. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Hope United Methodist Church, 301 W. St. Marie St. Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Minnesota. Call 624-5200.

Longtime Meadowlands residents Harold Charles Holets, 97, died Oct. 15, 2010, in Duluth. There will be no formal service. Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Minnesota.

Doris Mary Olson, 84, of Duluth, died Oct. 11, 2010. Services were held Oct. 16 at Salem Lutheran Church.
Ruth A. Pearce, 88
Ruth A. Pearce, 88, formerly of Pines, Ill., and Sturgeon Lake, Minn., died Oct. 17, 2010, at Solvay Hospice House. Private family services were held.
Gregory Switzer, 51
Lifelong Duluthian and East High School alumnus Gregory Peter Switzer, 51, died Oct. 22, 2010, at Solvay Hospice House. There will be a benefit dinner for his family from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at Mr. D’s.
Dennis Wagner, 65
Dennis Michael Wagner, 65, of Silver Bay, died Oct. 21, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospice. A celebration of his life was held Oct. 26 at Silver Bay’s United Protestant Church.
