Dorothy Andree, 89

Dorothy J. Andree, 89, of Duluth, died June 3, 2010, at Bayshore Health Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior and will be conducted by Dorothy’s nephew, the Rev. Paul Andree of First Lutheran Church of New Richland, Minn. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery. Services by First Memorial, 624-5050.

Lonah Celeste Harris, 73

Lonah Celeste Harris, 73, died June 2, 2010. Services were held June 7 at First Memorial Chapel.

Roy Opien, 87

Roy Joseph Opien, 87, of Duluth, died May 27, 2010. Services were held June 3 at Emmanuel Baptist Church-Duluth Heights with burial at Sunrise.

Pete Schmidt, 74

Pete Schmidt, 74, of Silver Bay, died June 6, 2010, at Solvay Hospice House. Services will be held at noon Monday at Silver Bay’s St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with burial taking place at the city’s Sawtooth Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 624-5200.
