Duluth native and World War II veteran William “Bill” James Blackwood Sr., 83, died March 10, 2010, at Viewcrest Health Center. At Bill’s request, private family services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 624-5200.
John ‘Jack’ R. Dickson, 66
Duluth native and Cathedral and UMD graduate John “Jack” R. Dickson, 66, died March 4, 2010, at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center. A gathering of family and friends was held Wednesday at Proctor’s Moose Lodge.
Conrad Norman Setterquist, 58
Duluth native Conrad Norman Setterquist, 58, died March 4, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospice Care. Services were held Tuesday at the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
Richard Norman Taylor, 85
World War II veteran (and former CIA officer during the Cold War) Richard Norman Taylor, 85, died March 3, 2010, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Services were held in St. Paul, with burial in Minneapolis’ Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
