CHARLES "CHARLIE" TERRY EVERSON

Charles "Charlie" Terry Everson, 63, of Cloquet, passed away Wednesday, Nov.

Charles "Charlie" Terry Everson, 63, of Cloquet, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009 at the Community Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 31, 1946 in Cloquet to Roy and Harriet (Yelle) Everson and graduated from Cloquet High School.

Charles retired as Chief from the U.S. Navy and served on the U.S.S. Rogers during the Vietnam War. After retirement, he worked at WSSLD in Duluth; owned and operated the Northeastern Bar in Cloquet; and also at the Black Bear Casino.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Roy Everson.

He is survived by his mother, Harriet Everson of Cloquet; two daughters, Sara (Jared) Muller of Peoria, Ariz., and Natasha (Rudy Escalante) Tousignant of Yuma, Ariz.; one brother, Dale (Margie) Everson of Shakopee, Minn.; and five grandchildren, Ryan, Kaylee, Bre, Kalysa and Ztar.

VISITATION: 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 until the 2 p.m. memorial service in Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet with full Military honors presented by the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard. Inurnment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family has selected Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet to assist them with arrangements. See their online guest book at www.nelsonfuneralcare.net

To the family of Charlie T Charlie was one of the greatest friends I ever had,he helped me to see that there was a better way than just drinking everyday and I really appreciate Charlie for helping me to find the road to recovery.I will always remember the good times at the Northeastern and how he always seemed to make people happy.He is now with W.C.
