Green Bay, Wis.-based veterinarian David Gagnon extends the front leg of a sled dog during Saturday’s vet checks ahead of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. Each team competing in the race underwent a veterinary examination on Saturday at Black Bear Casino near Carlton.
