Grandma's on Miller Hill

Patrons fill the dining room at Grandma’s Saloon and Grill on Miller Hill on Thursday night. Grandma’s Restaurant Co. worked feverishly to get the flood-damaged restaurant back open within six-and-a-half weeks, but the restaurant still lost money. Despite the setback, Grandma’s president Brian Daugherty called Duluth “a shining star, in terms of the steady, continued, incremental growth of its hospitality industry.” (Clint Austin / caustin@duluthnews.com)
