Fourth-grade students at Washington Elementary sold Candy Grams for 25 cents or five for $1 as a fundriser for Toys for Tots. The Candy Grams were sold for three weeks, and the students made $300. All classes were able to pick out the toys they wanted to purchase, and two children from each class were selected to drop them off. The kids not only learned the life skill of giving, but also sorting, organizing and money management.
