Don Zirbes holds a Kamloops rainbow trout he caught Thursday morning while fishing at the French River on Lake Superior. The fish weighed about 6½ pounds. Many Kamloops rainbow trout are reared at the French River Coldwater Hatchery on the French River. (Bob King / rking@duluthnews.com)
