At the 33rd annual cookie party held Dec. 1 this year, I gave apron gifts. I had chosen wonderful cooking/kitchen/cookie themed fabric from quilt shops in Duluth, Cloquet and Floodwood and then did my sewing to fashion a flirty apron.
From left are Kathy Koenigsmark, Lori Sandvig, Lida Pitra and Tina Hatfield, all of Minneapolis, all the “cookie gals.” I also made flirty aprons for Christmas 2012 for Bev Denyes and Susan Wolff, both of Grand Marais. It was Bev who insisted that this sewing project, which kept me busy during November, should be sent to Scrapbook!
